STEM Engagement Programming

Since 2021, the Lance and Aileen Porter Foundation has partnered with OSU 4-H to provide much needed Stem Engagement Programming to young people in the city’s near northeast side.

With classes held at the William H. Adams Community Center, the collaboration has met an unfulfilled educational demand within an underserved community. Subjects include coding, programming, and application development.

This well-received collaboration has led to demand from surrounding communities and plans are to expand the offerings to Marion, Chillicothe, Lima, and Springfield.
